When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service Privacy Policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

We are KJ Marketing UK Ltd trading as KJM Card Services. We provide a text marketing system which allows business owners to collect customer data which is then collected by KJ Marketing UK for the purposes for text and email marketing on behalf of that business. The texts that customers receive are intended to provide vouchers with offers that incentivises each customer to return to the premises. The customer has an immediate ‘opt-out’ on each text which provides the ‘right to be forgotten’. This data is not shared with anyone else at any time.

How we use your information

This privacy notice tells you how we, KJ Marketing UK, will collect and use your personal data by segmenting customers by postcode area, and in providing the day and month of your birthday we may send birthday offers designed to incentivise you to return to the business premises where you provided your data. We will use your mobile number to send these messages to as well as your email address. We will also use your data to recall your information in regard any complaints you wish to make.

 

Why does KJ Marketing UK need to collect and store personal data?

In order for us to provide you with these offers and incentives, we need to collect personal data for correspondence purposes containing a detailed offer which may be only intended for your personal use. In any event, we are committed to ensuring that the information we collect and use is appropriate for this purpose, and does not constitute an invasion of your privacy.
